Saw Brian Deane comment on this yesterday, saw us through the bad times and the good.

RIP.

This is quite a shock for me to read this news of Peter's death.
We were neighbours in Armley, Leeds for many years, about 10 I think
He and his wife, Maureen were good friends with my parents, often going out for a drink together, in the late 50s, early
60s...I played football in the street with Peter as a young lad.
He played for East End Park, a well known local amateur team as well as LUFC, though he never got to the 1st team...a big mate of Jack Charlton and many Leeds players.
RIP Peter thanks for the memories

I have to admit, Peter Gunby isn't a familiar name to me but he seems to have a strong Leeds connection. Condolences to his family.
