According to the Sun, K has stepped back in with an improved offer and has been named PB but as football creditors will not be paid in full we will get a 15 point deduction NOW so will be relegated this season and start afresh next season.
How on earth the Sun know all this is beyond me and until a formal announcement is forthcoming I am not rushing to any judgement. I thought you might be interested, however.

I dont know whether CK as PB will work out. I hope it does as he's the only one who's come forward with any enthusiasm and apparent committment with regards to a love of football and DCFC. I equally hope he is a man of integrity as he seemed to be when he first introduced himself to us back in December :
Dear Derby County Supporters,
We don't know each other yet, but we have two things in common: our love for the game of football and our desire to rebuild Derby County back into the proud club everyone deserves. My name is Chris Kirchner and I hope to see many of you soon - as this is my official announcement of my intention to work with the administrators to take Derby County Football Club out of administration.
Derby County is a club with a rich history and one of the best groups of supporters in all of England. While the club is currently going through a really tough time, it is the supporters, and everyone associated with the club that have stayed loyal which provide the foundation to rebuild again. I want to be a part of that rebuild and support that effort. As an entrepreneur I am committed to building companies and I want to apply that experience towards rebuilding this proud and storied club. This challenge is one I don't take lightly but is something I am looking forward to - and I know we can prove successful at - if we work together.
Football (or soccer as I knew it growing up but have learned to correct that over time) has been a part of my life since I could walk. My father introduced the game to me (futbol as he called it growing up in South America) at a very early age and I spent most of my life playing the sport. My love for football hasn't changed over the years, and I have been involved as a fan throughout my adult life. Being in the fortunate position to purchase such a prestigious club as Derby County is a childhood dream come true.
Up the Rams!
Sincerely, Chris Kirchner

Enthusiasm…commitment….love towards DCFC?
Is this the same fella who only 2 weeks ago was hoping and committed to buying PNE, after dropping you some 3 months previously?

Re:- CK,
There is still a fair way to get his bid over the line. I am sure that there are other interested parties still waiting to see how this goes....

No doubt. The interesting part of this to me is how much Rooney is behind Kirchner, hinting yesterday that he might be staying on as manager which I hadn't thought likely at all.
Why would Rooney want Kirchner? Supposedly Paul Stretford, Rooney's agent is involved as is Garry Cook, but while that explains the connection it doesn't explain why Rooney, as a man who clearly has serious ambitions in management, would want to come along for the ride. It can surely only be because he thinks there is significant potential in that ownership. It's Rooney's support that gives me grounds for hope.

Having seen the name Garry Cook mooted a few times, I have to be honest and say I didn't know who he was.
This maybe PNE linked but sheds an insight into Cook and also the Rooney connection.

A very long time ago John Percy referred to one potential bidder being the "dream ticket". It would be nice if this was the one but if so, why has it taken so long and why would the bid not include the stadium or pay off creditors satisfactorily?

Kirchner said: “Valuations on my company are wrong and most of that is illiquid. The money for the team came from private investments and early investments in crypto."
Sounds convincing to me! I think you guys could be OK!!
