So obvious to me that this is who we should push the boat out for. A back 3 of Gvardiol, Dier and Romero really would take us up a notch. He will be expensive, yes, but he's a 20 year old who will probably double his value in 2 years. Exactly the type of signing we should be making.

IMO we should be looking for 4 incomings:

LCB Gvardiol
RWB Spence
CM
ST

Obviously qualifying for the CL would make this a lot more realistic, plus selling the likes of Emerson, Winks, Lucas and one of Lo Celso/N'Dombele and hopefully loaning the other, with Gil coming back as Kulusevski's back up.

Sorry, forgot signing Johnstone to replace Gollini too.

GK….Johnstone
CB….Gvardiol (I know nowt about but sounds good)
RWB….Spence (Emerson sold, he is a RB)
LWB….O’Neil (Only if Reggie sold / keep Sess, for now)
CM….Modric / Eriksen / Isco ….2 of 3 (all free)
CF ….Toney or Belloti (free)

Never happening but I can hope

I like the look of Mitchell at Palace but others have said he was more a LB then LWB
