What happend so far:
Max Verstappen got the defence of his world title up and running with victory at the previous race in Saudi Arabia, and now F1 returns to the Australian city of Melbourne for the third grand prix of the season.
An intriguing battle is emerging between Verstappen and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, who won the season-opener in Bahrain and pushed the Red Bull driver all the way under the floodlights in Jeddah.
Ferrari's Carlos Sainz was also strong in third, holding off Red Bull's Sergio Perez, who had qualified in pole position.
Defending constructors' champions Mercedes, meanwhile, will be hoping for a change in fortunes after George Russell finished fifth in Saudi Arabia with Lewis Hamilton a disappointing 10th.

Merc - 65
Red Bull - 55
Red Bull could be in serious trouble, its very quick but seems to put a lot of stress on the car..the graining, the retirements. But Mercedes will get it right and if they are within touching distance of Ferrari and Red Bull then we will have a hell of a 2nd half of the season

Hamilton complaining he doesn't like the new car. Russel above him tells you all you need to know about hamilton skills. Without the car he's bang average.

listen to yourself. you do realise you sound like a wee school girl on the play ground fs!
both hamilton and russell are complaining about the car, this weekend showed that hamilton had more pace than russell, and a safety car helped.
What they are showing is that even with a rotten car they are still bet of the rest. and currently sit in 2nd place in constructors even with a car massively lacking pace
