When he is in form he is the best player in the league. In defense and attack he was amazing and Pep called it perfectly starting Gabriel and Sterling as they play to KDBs strength.
Expect the same at Wembley which is a bigger pitch but team should do better to take their chances. I can’t make up my mind if the Liverpool midfield was that poor or our midfield was great. Fabinho was poor , I find him incredibly lazy and KDBs goal showed that. Thiago is decent but with all due respect Henderson is a passenger.
Expect Keita to play next week. Hopefully we get A few early goals and defend better.
Performance wise that’s all you can ask for. As a team we play the better football. A top striker will help us win matches easier.
Rodri and Bernardo were amazing. Hopefully that gives us the confidence to push for trophies in the last few weeks

Liverpool's midfield were poor but a lot of that was due to De Bruyne being excellent. He had Fabinho all over the place.

Hopefully rectified for next game , that KDB he is a great player tbf

The way we play we don't make special plans for individual players and KDB was outstanding today. Our midfield just did not turn up at all but that was because Rodri bossed the midfield and won the battle.

I made a post before the game and said if Rodri plays well then City will be comfortable.
Also felt your midfielders just didn’t press the ball maybe in fear that our midfielders would pass it around the corner.
I am certain Keita starts in the FA Cup game.
Pep also made the right calls tactically and the players played well. Looking at the Sterling chance in the first 10 mins van Dijk and Fabinho were very poor there.

KDB was class. Absolute machine.
You’re right, our game hinged on Rodri playing well, fortunately he did.
For the second time this season we’ve been the better side against Liverpool and had to share the points. Hope we can just see it out now. I actually thought we were guilty of underplaying it at times today. Jesus, Sterling and Mahrez all missed chances where there was a pass on to someone in a better position. If we were just a little bit more savvy in the final third we could have put 4 or 5 away.

KDB was impressive driving with the ball today. It was Gerraed-esque

Kdb my fave player outside LFC.
No one else plays with his style or swagger.

There was a few times Liverpool passing let them down when an easy pass would have cut city open. Both teams went for it and it's just a dif level compared to some of the man u v Chelsea v arsenal borefests we used to get in title races. Obv some exceptions but these two, as neville said, are just on another level.
City will know Liverpool can play far better and won't under estimate them. Such fine margins.

Yeah, can’t argue with that. We suffered today because of his performance but the guy is fantastic, I’m not sure if he sees passes others don’t or whether he just has the ability to make passes others don’t - either way, result is the same.
Top quality performance from a top quality player.

yeah just look at the highlights again, The pass KDB makes for Sterlings disallowed goal he is not marked by anyone. Too many times Bernardo looked up and passed with no one near him.
The performance of your midfield was deplorable. They cant play any worse.
