out the same old line, we cannot change the PM during a time of crisis. They seem to be hiding behind this nonsense, just to prop up their discredited leader.
For the record the UK changed PM:
Four times in the war in Afghanistan
Once in the Iraq War
Once in the Gulf War
Once in the Korean War
Once in the Second World War
Once in the First World War
Once in the Second Boer War
Once in the Second Opium War
Once in the Crimean War
Twice in the Peninsular War
And we're not even fighting in this one.
Johnson has to go, and those that keep coming out in the media supporting him, and lying for him, need to go as well.
Why is it that Tory MPs keep trotting

The thing BJ has in his favour is that none of his base wanted any of these restrictions in the first place. You also get the impression that BJ himself was reluctantly implementing them as well. So the vast majority of the calls to replace him are coming from the opposition so I can't see this scandal being the one that gets him.
If he is to go it will probably be as a result of a lost election. However, as things stand I can't really see anybody that can beat him in an election to be totally honest...

He`s toast mate. Just a matter of when. If people are still willing to vote for this serial liar and chancer, then it says everthing about what Britain has become now. The majority of sensible people realised that lockdowns were absolutely essential. It still however did not stop over 150,000 from dying. Imaging no lockdown, the death toll would have been in the millions.

His own MPs will eventually get rid of him, just like they did with Thatcher, when they realise if he doesn`t go, then they will all be out of a job as well. The one thing about the Tories is that they are all about self-preservation, and do absolutely nothing for the country. Everything is geared around themselves.
Strange that the Tories are in trouble, and they then decide to use the immigrant card again, let`s send all the boat people to Rwanda. That will be a vote winner. They really are the lowest of the low.

Can we send Johnson to Rwanda, he wasn't born here after all?

Some people would rather get completely fecked over by a government than admit they voted for a bunch of self serving crooks.

Yep
Turkeys that would rather get eaten then admit they were idiots to vote for Christmas.

I mean I get it probably isn't that important at this precise moment as it means more running up to A GL, but isn't Labour ahead in all latest intention polls.
If a GL was called bow I reckon Labour would win. Issue is, when a GL is called we will get all the dirty Tory tactics once again to pull them ahead. And as always, the stupid idiots of this country get pulled in and manipulated time and time again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don`t think the people will get fooled again Bake `em, you can only do that so many times before you get rumbled.

He wont walk, he's far to up his own butt.
I'd be staggered if the Tories got in again but after the last few years, nothing surprises me anymore. Particularly if the likes of this Forest plank are given a vote.

The Labour party are sitting ducks during an election season which is their problem. Their strategy is essentially identity politics which works well in the USA but not so much in the UK (for now at least). The next time Kier Starmer builds up a head of steam in an election campaign, all the conservatives need to do is ask him to define what a woman is and watch him squirm. That stuff really alienates swing voters.
Then they have a bigger problem that the left wing parties eat each other. For example, the Lib Dems, Labour, the Green party and even the SNP are all competing for the same vote, whereas the conservatives only real competition for the right wing voters is UKIP or really fringe parties like the one created by that actor etc. That means that 90% of the right wing vote goes conservative but the left wing vote is split amongst 4/5 significant parties. If we had a voting system like the French do where we have a general election followed by a showdown between the final 2 candidates, then we would see Labour win nearly every time.
I actually think BJ will win again. Not because he is good, but because the landscape right now suits him and I don't think anybody will be able to provide good enough opposition.

I've read that the police have fined Boris for his parties. But nowhere can I find exactly how much the fine was.
Anybody know?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
£50 Ted, and that will be paid by the taxpayers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are surely joking Sandy!!
I won't fall for that!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
100 per cent correct Ted.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No wonder nobody publishes the actual amount of the fine!

And lying repeatedly, breaking the law, having parties when people could not attend funerals I suppose doesn`t in your book.
If that is all Johnson has to throw at Starmer is a question about what a woman is, then they are in really big trouble.
I think Johnson will be dumped, because the Tories know they will be absolutely wiped out in an Election.
They know they are going to get pulverised in the local elections, so they play the final spin of the dice by bringing out the race card to try to win back their far right racist base from Farage.

It is indeed time for Boris to be dumped.
But frankly, I have no confidence in the British public to do any dumping.
Boris is busy doing diversions by walking around Ukraine, etc. He has a habit of surviving.
