I reckon he will coach Atleti next as their chairman aspires his team to play more attractive football

There's still plenty of time left in the season for the Burnley owners to risk it all.

Leyton Orient were in a death spiral just under a couple of months ago under Kenny Jackett. All but guaranteed of non-league football next season after going without a single win since mid-December.

First they brought in a caretaker who stabilised things with 2 draws in 2 games.

Then they brought Richie Wellens in. 8 games later, they've won 4, Drawn 2, and Lost 2.

They'll end the day in 14th place if they beat a sorry Scunthorpe.

Dyche has done a good job overall and I'm surprised by the news but I've seen the usual reaction from fans how they are hammering the club for getting rid and how it guarantees relegation. Let's be honest, plenty of examples of managers coming in and having a good impact and saving clubs, and it's not like Burnley haven't shown loyalty themselves. When you compare to Watford for example, it's night and day.

My feeling is they were heading down with Dyche anyway. It's not like he's not been through relegation before.

They’re getting hammered because they’ve been sitting on all that PL money for years while barely giving Dyche a bean to spend and asking for miracle after miracle.

Remember when Liverpool wanted Dyche to take over when Klopp leaves?

Dyche would probably win a couple trophies at Liverpool

It's the usual rhetoric from fans about how a club is doomed by getting rid of a manager who is deemed to deserve better. Well yes maybe he does deserve better, but in terms of whether this is a good or bad decision or not, nobody knows yet. I heard the same reaction when Ranieri was sacked from Leicester and Adkins from Southampton. Those turned out to be decent decisions in the end.

Dyche has done well with what he's had to work with but people can't exactly say Burnley haven't shown enough loyalty or anything like that, when they've had him for 10 years and experienced relegation and flirtations with relegation for much of the time they've been in the league. There are far worse clubs to point the finger at for lack of loyalty than Burnley.
