Our team is a mess right now but so are Arsenals. Spurs should do it and are favourites but if we can beat Arsenal away next weekend (far from impossible) then we surely have a chance. Especially as we have a Ronaldo.
Let’s just forget the Liverpool game (although how funny would it be if we won there for many reasons, not least as a quad destroyer). Beat Arsenal and win the next couple and sit back and watch Spurs play Arsenal towards the end of the season as we hopefully pounce
At this point I rate the top 4 chances of us and our rivals as this ..
Spurs 60%
Us 30%
Arsenal 10%
Is that fair? However if Spurs trip up again and we win 2 of our next 3 then why not? Gotta be optimistic even though our players will probably let us down. Happy Easter everyone

If Man Utd can win next 2 games or Spurs and Arsenal bottle some we have out of nowhere a great chance. I had given up for 4th after Everton game. Another game we dominated and lost.
Everton worst stats of the season at home yet they win. Burnley had like the worst stats of the season at home to us but drew. Watford had there worst stats in recent run of defeats against us but drew. 3 of the worst sides in the league managed to get outplayed and make us drop 7 points. That tells you how inefficient we are. Happens regularly teams play garbage and get a result against us. Madrid game we were completely on top and lose despite dominated stats and XG. I reckon in the last 3 years the opposition XG has been under 1 around 50 times and De Gea conceded in most of those games. Thats why we never win anything. EL final 1 shot 1 goal. Madrid game 1 shot on target 1st leg 1 goal. Sevilla 3 shots on target 2 goals. Leipzig 4 shots on target 3 goals. De Gea averages likes 2 saves to every goal we concede usually. I think Henderson and Romero like concede a goal every 4 shots on goal. That is why Romero and Henderson clean sheet record at Man Utd is like 2-3x better.
Even checked stats for 2021 Man Utd were ranked 1st by far for most games the opposition XG against was under 1 but ranked bottom for clean sheets in 2021 at home lol. Thats how terrible De Gea is. Even Ole and Ralf said the same thing, we don’t concede many chances at home but we concede like easy goals from opposition barely doing anything.
Man Utd had most games in 2021 opposition XG was under 1 at home yet we broke a record for worst clean sheet run as De Gea conceded more than expected in nearly every game in 2021.

Man Utd actually conceded in Ole last 15 home games in charge. What was more damning was we actually had most games in 2021 based on XG that we should have kept a clean sheet so that tells you how terrible De Gea is.
The only clean sheets in 2021 were in games XG opposition was near 0.00.

I honestly think Utd will get top 4.
Ronaldo will carry them through a bit like he did with Juventus last season.

Man Utd thrown away too many points in games we dominated under Rangnick hence why our Goal difference is so bad and we are so far behind. We should really be 5 points clear of Spurs at this stage going by games we dropped points in. We now need to win all remaining games to have any chance unless Spurs and Arsenal keep losing.

It is accurate if you watch us play Robb. We will lose to Arsenal because we are worse than them. I may be wrong here but I don’t think we have beaten Arsenal since Arteta has been their manager.
