Our games are not enjoyable anymore. Even good teams just choose not to leave their half anymore and you can but Real will set up that way on Tuesday.
We are usually the masters of taking apart a low block but without a striker, with good movement in the box we are struggling this season and KDB looks frustrated in each game now.
6 games to go. I just have a feeling Jesus could be that difference in the run-in as we are becoming a bit too predictable and easy to just block off.
Think the Real Madrid tie will drain us especially if they get something at the Etihad.
Good to see Dias back. He is going to be crucial.
* Just realised the Westham fixture is on FA Cup Final Weekend and it's 4 days before the Europa League Final. If Westham are in that final they will surely rest players.

Yes sorry about that. Just angers me he gets paid so much and is worse than any keeper I have seen. Cost us so many trophies since 2017. Hoping Man City win the league. Imagine Klopp losing by 1 point again. I think Pep got a side that can do it against anyone as they are all professionals, who take winning seriously. The concentration levels of Man City is insane at both boxes. I watched a bit of Man City last season wanting you to drop points but what I saw is the way Man City pass the ball to kill time and win the game is amazing.
I honestly think only Pep could save Man Utd now.

bomdia what is amazing is Pep plays the way I used to play on PES2010. I used to pass the opposition to death, make best players get on the ball and score. I used to just use youth team and win with Man Utd every game with clean sheets on top player many seasons until I got bored and quit.

Pep's Barça was already playing that way though, so you can't call dibs on him.
But I'd like to see him try it with the youth team in the PL and get clean sheets every game. I think you probably best him there.

Yeah I first started properly playing PES in 2008 but most of my time I did it was in 2010. Fifa 07 not new physics but old physics suited the Man Utd counter attacking side so I used to play fast flowing football with low drilled cross at end for tap ins. I don’t like conceding goals so press really aggressively from the front. Sort of Pep style really.
I haven’t played those games for over a decade now.

Teams do low block against Liverpool also but the difference is how City and Liverpool combat that. City will keep passing short risk free passes, meaning if they lose it, it's still difficult to get a them. This makes even a 3-0, such as last night quite boring to watch.
Liverpool will take more risks and as such if a mistake is made teams will find it easier getting in behind their defence with a counter. This makes the games more exciting. Ultimately the different styles work for the different sets of players.

Went to the game last night, thought the first half was frustrating more than anything but the second half was very good. Don’t agree about KDB, was watching him a lot and he was up for it all game.
It was last ditch blocks by Brighton a lot of the time, you could tell the goals were coming. They’re a good team though, ended up being a very good result.

We don’t get hit on the counter anymore but at the same time we are less likely to open up a well drilled low block.
We are still playing Covid football and last season we were fortunate Liverpool couldn’t keep up. This season it’s going to be so hard to win the remaining 6 games without a striker or presence in the box.
Pep was actually disappointed with the draw against Liverpool because he knows Liverpool are unlikely to drop a single point.
Right now we are being led by a fighting De Bruyne. After Watford it comes down to 5. Think we will do it but it’s tough with the European games. We need a lot of luck.
If westham make it to the Europa league final then they will rest players when we play them on the 15th. It’s also fa cup final weekend so hopefully Liverpool will have some catching up to do. The wolves game is the hardest game left and it’s annoying we don’t even know when it’s going to be played.
The other disappointing thing is this years CL Final is 6 days after the last game of the season. Not sufficient time for the team to recover and whoever loses the league will have little time to recover before the final.
