Off topic - Manchester Arena parking

Hi all,

Away from the excitement of the new manager announcement, I’m after a bit of advice please if possible!

I’m travelling up to see a show at Manchester Arena next week and wondered if anyone could advise where best to park?

It’s been a good few years since I was in the city centre properly so I don’t know it as well as I used to, I imagine.

It’s 2nd May, same night United play at home to Brentford so guessing the roads could be quite bad after 10pm.

Is there a good place to park slightly out of the centre and then get the metro in? Driving up from Leicester via M6.

Or would it be best driving in and parking near the arena? Train is a no-go.

I can’t find a train to get me home after the event until the following day.
I’ll look for a spot further out and get the tram I guess - thanks Boris

Sorry was busy. Yeah will be finished by around 10, but depends if there is an encore.

No worries. We've all been there. Usually around 22:05 is the best time as their parents have to go to the toilet before the drive home so it's pretty much an open goal.
