Truth is if it hadn't been for the Saudi takeover, everyone would be raving about the job Howe's done up there so far.

Newcastle have done tremendously well since Howe took over.

It actually has echoes of what happened to City back in 2008/09 season when we got new ownership.

Christmas time that season City were bottom three. Ended up finishing in the top half, after spending a quite a lot in the January transfer window.

Newcastle were in a worse position, but since January they have been incredible - 3rd in the league in regards to form since then.

It will be interesting to see what they do in the summer. Annoying for many, but interesting nonetheless.

Brazilian mf they signed would walk into the United team and cost them what 30 mill? Look's a real player and does everything united mf doesn't.

Imo this is a problem. As other than goals thats 20 games where hes not added value.

And this has always been my point. You replace Ronaldo with Firmino in our team and there’s no way Firmino would have scored 22 goals but I bet we would have had a better season.
