Depends on the system and who his team mates are. If he's paired with Fred n Mctominay again then you're probably right.

Garner played just about every match for Forest and distinguished himself. When I've seen him play for us, he seemed like a bit of a passenger, but I reckon we'll get a proper midfielder capable of playing in a 2, or attacking mid. He's the one player I have real hope for.

Surely it’s more important to get the strategy sorted properly first, let the boss assess the squad and identify the gaps, and make sure the right players for the system are targeted?

Think 3 - 4 players is doable but do not expect marquee signings.

Need to tart looking at the U-23s, there is some talent there.

Everton are the BTEC version of Utd, spend a lot and waste money on players with no system in place or any idea how they will fit in. And look where they are.

Utd are lucky they have enough quality with the mercenaries they sign to get wins on odd occasions to stay in the top half of the table.
