In the Premier League. Hopefully for many more years to come.
Like many and most on here, I have had to endure lower league football for probably half of the 50 years I’ve supported Leeds. Very tough years we have been through as fans. Making the most of what we had, And I actually think I made an argument on here once to not wanting to be back in the Premier League as I thought it was predictable and boring.
Well I suppose when only a handful of teams are scrapping it out for the top
4 every year, from afar, when your team is in League 1 or the Championship, it may seem that way.
But I must say, being back has been magnificent. Every game feels huge…and the thought of going down again is terrifying. Don’t want it . Can see us being away for a long time again.
Watching this team progress and create a huge impact on the league under the guidance of Bielsa was astonishing. The football played at times was breathtakingly good. It was also incredibly difficult to watch sometimes as we had no fear and left ourselves wide open.
Don’t get me wrong, I was shocked at Bielsa being sacked, and saddened. But a new era has arrived and now we can just hope for survival. The style is different, but hopefully that will evolve into something a little more easy on the eye with a stable footing going into next year.
Good luck Leeds over these next 5 games - and hopefully we can all celebrate another PL season upcoming in the summer.

It’s great to be back

Nice post Infiniteone. The last 3 seasons have all felt very different - here’s my take:
19/20 - The season we knew we had to get promoted after the previous seasons disastrous climax. Every game was exciting and seemed so eventful and the team had ‘Champions’ written all over them.
20/21 - Our first season in the Prem made me feel so proud of the boys and even prouder of Bielsa. Seeing others admiring and applauding our style of play was an amazing feeling and I was optimistic about every upcoming match.
21/22 - From the very first match there was a sense of second-season syndrome and it only got worse, along with our injury list. It’s the only season I can remember going into almost all the matches with a sense of dread. And the sacking of Bielsa was one of the saddest events in the club’s history. The final page on this season has still to be written, but whatever the ending, I’ll be glad when it’s finished.

I hope you stay up, the Premier League's better with Leeds in it and needs rivalries like ours, so genuinely good luck from a Manchester United supporter

Agree Infinite.
Marcelo was a football miracle. What he did out the
gate with our squad was unbelievable. He left a mark
on the players, club, fans, city, and the Prem.
I really hope the club commission a statue (has to be
sitting on his bucket), he really does deserve it.
Legend.
