Morning after view :

Well, we did to Blackpool what so many teams have done to us this season. They didnt take their chances, we took ours.
I thought Blackpool were poor tbh, and first half especially so were we. But as they say goals change games...and so it was. It just makes me think...."if only....."

1. Goalie. Roos. Surprised to see him playing after Allsop had dominated this season. A faultless display and 2 great saves.

2. Defence. Festy, Curtis, Cash & Fozzie. I thought Festy was a bit of a liability today especially 1st half. The middle 2 did ok but got caught on occasions, thankfully without cost. Fozzie I've got to say I prefer to Buchanan.

3. Midfield. Bird, Watson & JK38. I still dont think we're right in Midfield. We got overun at times and for me the balance / personnel just aren't quite right. I thought Watson was the pick of the 3.

4. Forwards. Plange, Ravel & Ebiowei. For me none of them played badly,I think Ebiowei didnt quite seem to know how to play with Festy - but all of them have played a lot better. They plugged away without too much effect. That said Ebiowei had a hand in both goals - so good for him.

5. Subs. Sibley, Tommo & Aghatise. Sibs came on and did what he does best - driving at defences and did well. Tommo shored things up. Aghatise looked useful I thought.

I think the win papered over the cracks a little and gave us a good feeling. At times we overcooked things in the final third when all it needs is someone to shoot instead of trying to lay on the perfect goal. Equally I thought our passing at times was sloppy. But as Rooney said later "we've played better and lost"...how true. The fans were terrific today and I think it was them who inspired the team to a win. I was pleased for both the goal scorers today as they have both stepped up and done well. Hopefully we can win again next Saturday to finish the season on a high. Cheers. Terry......UTR
