This is another level from Spursy, it's Citysy

Not so long ago spurs won a match scoring 2 ET goals...so not really appropriate.... Fat lady always has the last say! Oh well...theres always next term to just do it...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you concede 3 goals in about 10 minutes, after being 2 goals up with 5 minutes left to play.. it's pretty Spursy

Easily beats anything we’ve ever done
Cannot believe City have lost that. Totally bossed the tie

Pep should have kept the team in tact and just let them play out the match. You dont facking rest players against Madrid, when you know they have been coming back from 2 3 down in the last 10 minutes for like a dozen times now. Unfackingbelievable. Pep is such a frustrating manager, never learns from his mistakes it seems.

Pep has a lot to answer for. I believe that he started bringing Subs. in because of his arrogance. He believed that the game was essentially over, however, he forgot to tell Real Madrid.

~ Pep tried to control the game without giving too much incentive to attack and play their own game by pressing more urgently.
~ Kevin de Bruyne reverted back to be a more passive, controlling player in the middle of the park instead of seeking more advanced positions to occupy like he did in recent games.
~ The first goal was 100% the fault of Ruben Dias by not being tight enough to the Madrid sub.
~ The second goal was something I mentioned before: Dias and especially Laporte are poor in the air. The ball fell in between the two players and Dias should have been poor proactive with his positioning by attacking the player in front of him that was in Laporte's back
~ You can debate wether the third goal was a penalty, but the fact is, Dias again was the catalyst for City's downfall.
~ Speaking of which, mentality is a big component in battling the pressure and mindgames of the opponent, as well as stay grounded and cement your belief. The fact that they didn't play their usual game already put them one step behind.
~ The changes Pep made worked in Madrids favour.
