We edge closer to the completion of the sale of the club. There is still the approval from the government required so we just have to wait on them.
This will allow time for a few more media rumours and win rants but we will just have to endure them. This is the 2nd time I have seen the club change hands and the best position I have seen the club in during one of those transitions. This will be the 4th ownership I've known.
We will never know how good or bad the other potential suitors would have been for us but expect plenty of speculation on that, also expect many theories on our future, no one can predict that either not even us.
Some details have been outlined in the statement, one of which mentions a 1.75b investment which has been rumoured, I heard over 10 years. Interestingly for me that's just shy of the debt that Roman wrote off which equates pretty much to his investment over the last 19 years.
Only time will tell but whilst things are likely to be different I see enough to believe the future is still positive for our club and I don't envisage getting the save the bridge buckets out anytime soon, though I have fond memories of my change hitting the bottom of said buckets even now, 40 years on.
Off to the game, hoping to see Summer again, quite a drink post game a couple of weeks ago. Something to celebrate this week. I'll catch up on the bitter responses later.

I don't know why but all week o had the feeling something might happen today though I was half expecting an announcement at the ground and maybe even to see them on the pitch at half time. This will do fine though.
