After their excellent recovery from 2-0 down at Stamford Bridge on Saturday and earning a precious point, Wolves return to Molineux on Wednesday to take on league champions Manchester City.
The previous 3 meetings between sides have resulted in 3 victories for City with an aggregate score of 8-2.
With the league title at stake and with City’s points total and goal difference almost identical to that of rivals Liverpool it seems inevitable that they will be looking to put as many past Jose Sa as they can. However only the top 3 teams in the league have a better defensive record than Wolves so this game could become a real battle of wills.
Wolves’ performance against Chelsea showed a marked improvement over their previous 3 games, it’s to be hoped that the home crowd will inspire them to produce a top performance once again as so often before under the lights of Molineux.
The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event
Gem’s prediction: 1-1

In amiga's defence, he refers to sensible transfers, not where we are or who we might catch.
Cinci however hasn't been positive all season.

Why won't he be loaned out again
Sounds like over zealous refereeing

He's been very sensible in the last month.
Hope he keeps it up.

Cinci has every reason not to be positive, there has been little to encourage anyone to be.

One of the 6 players on loan at Grasshoppers, Christian Herc comes on after 74 mins, gets a yellow after 75' and a second yellow after 77'. Guess he won't be going back on loan next season.

Christian Herc isn't on loan.

Sunny
You and Amiga keep banging the sensible transfer drum
The rest of us are on the same beat, nobody has banged a reckless transfer drum
Not sure why it became the narrative that we wanted reckless spending with gay abandon
Where as you and Amiga became the last bastions of sensibility

Yeah Herc left

And i haven't been negative, i have been realistic. I am quite chilled about things and not putting blame on Bruno.
I said we were no better than the likes of Palace, Brighton and Leicester and nowhere near Spurs, Arsenal and United. I said 11th-14th and that talk of 6th was ridiculous. We gonna finish within five points of 11th i suspect, maybe less and further from 6th. Not so daft after all i guess.

There was an ugly incident in the row behind me in the north bank last night, just after Sterling's disallowed goal I heard one of the ladies that have been sitting behind behind us for years screaming at one of the guys a couple of seats along. Sounds like they had brought along a young 14 year old lad with them who was presumably a City fan and again didnt see it but he must have celebrated the goal and the bloke sat next to him smacked him in the face. Loads of blood and a huge lump came up straight away.
The guy who threw the punch realised straight away what he'd done and was full of apologies. But a life changing moment of madness for him, I guess, a stadium ban and possible GBH charge. He went quietly away with the stewards, when they eventually reacted about 10 minutes later. To be fair the lad looked big for 14 but and I guess the guy that lamped him may have though he was older, not that that excuses his behaviour,
Hope the kid's alright too of course but hope also he's learned that its wise to keep your gob shut when your in among opposition fans, as your truly successfully did on Saturday. I was pretty chilled out from all the Guinness I'd drunk though to be fair.

wonder if this is the lad?
