He's actually a good defender but playing on the halfway line against a top quality mobile centre forward just doesn't suit him. Arteta should have had Tomiyasu up against Son. I've no idea what he was thinking other than he didn't fancy Cedric on the let or Tavares up against Kulusevski. Which are both fair enough as Kulusevski would have enjoyed himself against either but there were other options.

I'm not too sure. There has been some talk that he has been carrying a knock so we are being careful with him however he is arguably our biggest goal threat.

Arteta prefers the width and defensive work rate of Martinelli at the moment plus he has picked up a couple of assists in his last 2 games and carried the most threat against Leeds, just lacked a goal.

A few of us were keen on him and Martinelli both playing with one or the other up top but we are unlikely to see that now.

I've often wondered that. Arsenal seem to go up a gear when he comes on yet he can't seem to get a start. He looked a brilliant player when he first burst onto the scene. The way he runs with the ball I had to double take to make sure it wasn't Paul Merson. They glide in exactly the same way. He needs to be trusted more.

Holding should be banned from football.
Elbowing, shirt pulling, hanging on,.......but kicking a man on the ground?
THAT is beyond the pale.

Won more FA Cups than literally any of your players for the last 30+ years, and played a huge part in both finals we won.

Shame you lot will never understand the feeling.
