Diamond in the rough. If we stay up he'll be part of
the reason why. If we get relegated he's who we
should build around and smash the Championship.
Excellent today. Thank god James is a knucklehead.

What a dangerous lunge that was. Fcking idiot.

Can't stand Burnley. But seeing Everton relegated would be sweet.

Bookies still have us as faves for relegation.
Then Burnley. Then Everton.

Great moment from Joffy but overall his performance was very average. Can’t have helped having to play next to Rodrigo who was totally abysmal!
Overall Joffy got us out of jail. Game should have been dead and buried first half.

Rodrigo looks spent. Not sure what he adds?

Joffy showed more desire than anyone today. He was a spark plug. Always showed for the ball. Got into good positions. And produced a magical moment for our goal.
No one bettered him. So if others think he was average or just okay, that's still better than the rest. He gave everything and proved the idiocy of Bielsa and Marsch to play that big sack of fck all Dan James, ahead of him.
Imagine if he'd started multiple games ahead of James.
We might not be in the mess. He's one of our few round pegs.

Rodrigo was no worse than Gelhardt today. Should hve got an assist.

I'll repeat my comment from another thread about Joffy - I'd rather have a lad that was'poor for long spells' and do what he did with that brilliant set up in a pivotal game and actually produce something tangible that affects a result. He's not seen nearly enough game time this season and whilst he has areas of his game to work on he is a good un.

Put simply, James does not have the technical skill to create the chance from which Pascal scored today. Nor to win the penalty which Joffy won against Wolves.
That alone is justification to start him over James in the No.9 position.
