With Max Verstappen bearing in on Charles Leclerc ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix, the two title fighters weighed in on their respective positions and how they feel about being there.
Leclerc has a 19-point lead over Verstappen – who has won the last two Grands Prix – with Ferrari looking to halt Red Bull’s momentum by bringing upgrades to this weekend’s Barcelona race.

That was red bull’s “strategy”. They didn’t want him to overtake Max.
George held them both up for a fair few laps. Perez made loads of time up to catch them and had the faster car with Max’s DRS issues.
If Max let’s Perez through he easily takes George at turn 1 and extends a gap to what would have been 1st with Leclerc retiring

Literally what happened with Hamilton and bottas for years, don't like it but it is what it is

Bottas never has Hamilton’s race pace. Perez doesn’t with Max but on this occasion Perez had the healthier car.
Fortunate to have a 1/2 with Leclerc retiring but I can completely understand Perez’s frustration
