Is James Maddison a summer transfer option for us? Having another fantastic game tonight and his stats this season against the top 6 teams are more than decent.
On the negative side he would be pretty expensive, but beyond that he’s homegrown, experienced Premier League player, exactly the kind of creative midfield player the club are apparently interested in bringing in, and if the transfer saga with him Arsenal last summer is anything to go by he’s not averse to a move away from Leicester.
Personally I think his potential price tag means any move for him is unlikely but if somehow it did materialise, I would be more than happy with that as a signing.
James Maddison

If he could maintain his form a bit more over a season he'd definitely be a top 6 player. I don't think he's worth the 50 plus million needed though and not 100% sure he fits in a conte system.

Agreed about the fact he would be expensive, but I don’t see why he would fit in any less than say a Christian Eriksen.

Good player but seems to blow hot and cold.

17 goals is a decent return though

To be fair, Leicester did finish top six a couple of times and he’s better than Odegaard.

I think Maddison goes under the radar a bit because he doesn't get in the England squad. I'd definitely take him if the fee wasn't outlandish
