No one gave a monkeys about. this fixture a few months ago, now its a match we've agonised over for the past couple of weeks.
A few weeks into Marsch's tenure he appeared to be a lucky manager, injuries, red cards and lack of points have seen that tag disappear.
I hope we stay up today, but more than that I hope we can show some sort of performance, something that shows when the going gets tough we can turn up.
I've seen us not turn up so many times, we never quite cross the line for the really big games.
I want to see Raphinha beckoning to others to give him the ball, I want to see Lllorente really solid, Firpo knowing where he's supposed to be, Rodrigo on fire up front and Philips not letting anything past. Meslier with superb distribution, Harrison, adding shots on target from his first touch and it could be 30 yards for Klich. I want to see Gelhardt setting up Philips for the winner.
Whatever the outcome of today, give us something. Give us the Man City way result of last season, give us the Newcastle and West From demolitions, give us the very first match v Stoke.
We won't see half these players again.
We've been slaughtered (rightly so at times) by pundits this season, show them what you've been able to do for 3 seasons and do it one last time.
The odds are against us, I'm not expecting survival and I'm expecting lots of churn at the club over next 6 months and who know how long it takes to become an established Prem team, if we ever can, but we've had 3 years of something special, give it to us one last time.

Burnley's form is better, and Newcastle have nothing to play for. Leeds got 2 points from their last 5 matches.
But yes, everything is possible I guess.
