Hamilton and Massa had yet another coming together at the Marina Bay circuit two weeks ago when Hamilton drove into the back of Massa's Ferrari.
The accident left Massa with a right rear puncture and Hamilton with a broken front wing and a drive-through penalty.
But it now seems there is more to the story as instead of racing for the victory and the points, it would seem Massa's goal for the Singapore GP was to ruin Hamilton's race.
In the official video edit of the race on formula1.com, it is clear that Massa was told of this ahead of their lap 12 incident.
Speaking over the radio to the Brazilian, Massa's race engineer Rob Smedley said: "Hold Hamilton as much as we can.
"Destroy his race as much as we can. Come on boy!"
Which makes it rather ironic that after the grand prix an angry Massa confronted Hamilton while he was giving a post-race interview to Dutch TV.
And still even more strange that Massa, with the goal of slowing Hamilton down, accused the McLaren driver of not using "his mind" and potentially causing "a big accident."

I think Hamiltons doing a good enough job without the help of Massa or any other driver. And yes, i do like Lewis but i'm losing faith in the p---k.

I was wondering when you'd jump on this.
Has it not occurred to you that the reason Massa was told to ruin Hamilton's race was because of how much quicker he was? Maybe he was slowing Hamilton down so that Alonso could get on with his race without having to look in his mirrors.
As for the penalty, Hamilton deserved it. His frustration got the better of him and he went for a gap that was too small for him.
But hey, any excuse for you to mindlessly rage at the FIA, eh?
I was half expecting you to come up with some theory that Whitmarsh has connections at Ferrari.

some people are not fan boys but are not haters either funnily enough... so hamilton planking it into massa is just another example from hamilton of him not ebing i nthe mental "zone" required for winning.
some pople can interpret massa's instructions exactly how the stwards or anyone esle would and not get hot and bothered by them.
ah well.... maybe next year....

I hope Lewis can get back on things in time although I'm not expecting it within a certain time limit. Sometimes siht just happens and when he's on it a people are genuinely full of praise. That's the easy bit.
So he's been having a difficult year, christ they all get it at some point or another and the mob mentality of some don't help in my view from media to fans and pundits as well as ex-racing stars who really should know better, but hey the circus has to keep " rollin and performin" just like my grass plant, but with a little loving care and time she shows me why I love her in the first place.
In otherwards, keep the faith, give it time and let things take thier course.
IT'll PASS
@TUX
I get where your coming from mate
But in the words of Smedley "good lad, now stick with him"

Good stuff. Still think it was simply a careless move by Lewis and really just a racing incident.
Apart from that. Spot on, the ops a
