I always find it a bit weird he isn't linked to other clubs/other clubs come calling. Maybe they have and he has made it clear that he won't want to move but he would walk into pretty much every team in the world.

He signed a new contract when we were rubbish, think he genuinely loves the club

I doubt he would walk into City or Liverpool. Not strong enough on the ball. His hold up play is not the best either

not doing him a disservice here but the fact spurs have been a transitional and countering team over his best period at the club does make it hard to believe he'd be the same player at every club. he'd still score the goals though because of the quality around him.

I doubt he would walk into City or Liverpool. Not strong enough on the ball. His hold up play is not the best either

But for city or Liverpool I think he’d play up front which nullifies those issues

i guess thats true, neither play with a 'striker'

As in lead the line for them? Really? Hold up play is important when you lead the line...

Son is good at tracking back and he does work hard but he does not have core strength to hold a defender off. He can be bullied off the ball. You don't see Mane, Dias, Sterling or Grealish brushed off the ball as easy as Son.

I don’t agree with that he is decent enough with his back turned to a defender when on the wing, see every interaction he had with Holding. However I don’t think that was much of a requirement for Aguero or Jota - they were required more to be fluid amongst the front three and to run the channels well.
