Will it be good,who knows ? Not me;
I think there will obviously some ins and outs, but I think some players may surprise us.
The thing is, different set ups and systems suit some players and not others.
It could well be that Harry Maguire looks, and is, a good player in a different team or style of play.
I think, hope may be a better word, that we will have better coaching, and a plan that works, So we look like we know what we are doing. A set up where the opposition team can't stroll through us. A well drilled defence and midfield stops that.
An attack where each player knows his role, so,for example, a wide player knows which player will be moving into space, before it happens.
The word for all of this is team work, if we can get the team playing and sticking with a system that's a good start.
If it can be used on the training ground, in the youth teams, with a belief that it is good and is working, that's the ultimate.
So any sub, or youth player introduced, knows his role.
I believe some, not all, of the players we think are rubbish, would be seen in a different light.
Can we do it, no idea. Is Erik the man, no idea. But I do have hopes, I think we now have a manager who may be able to achieve it. After all it's what Pep does, it's what Klopp does, so why not Erik? He has already shown at Ajax that he is no mug.
Roll on next season. We won't start like we are City, but by the end of the season there should be signs we are moving in the right direction.
Next season !

It is hard to say atm but I believe the ins and outs this summer will give us an early indication if we can be on the right path. Rightback, midfield and attack should be the priority and unfortunately we may need to tolerate players on other positions for a bit longer. However, if our idea of improving is a midfield of De Jong and VDB (Both very limited players on what they can do), it is going to be another disaster.

I genuinely just want next season to be over already, because I am certain that it's going to be another race to the Quad between City and Liverpool.

I am, for once, looking forwards to the ins and outs during the transfer window. 10th of June to 1st September.

You might as well hibernate for the next five seasons or so. It's a two team league for the unforseen future.

Just once it would be nice if the quad was off by Feb. Can’t someone else win the fecking Carabao?

We need to clear out the snitches and back stabbers in the side.

The more outs the better imo. The problem is that even if there is an upturn in form for a while, this lot have shown that it won't be sustained and they'll eventually down tools, meaning the manager will lose his job. It's happened repeatedly and will happen again unless there's a total cultural reset. And such a reset can't be achieved without big changes in personnel.
Hopefully at least a couple of those who are out of contract will be amongst the bad eggs in the dressing room.
