Big Eck for Performance Director?

Mcleish has resigned from brum and reports suggest Aston Villa is a possibility but id see him as an ideal Performance Director to work with Levein. Much rather the respected former National Coach than some of the doughballs spoken of to date e.g. Stuart Baxter? This Stuart is like the pretender of old, always seems to be coming to Scotland....never quite does and when he does itll be too late!
