McLeish won't come to the Villa. The press and the bookies are just putting 2 and 2 together. It's well know that McLeish doesn't get on with the board at Blues and has had fall outs with them.

I hope not .. It will be an insult to our fans who in my opinion wont accept it .. Bad times

The taxi is booked.
Cases in the boot.
He's on the way down Lawley Middleway as we speak.
Next stop, Villa Park.

Well spoken Great Barr - McLeish joining Villa is way wide of the mark.
Livens up a miserable sunday afternoon though!

I am genuinely pleased he has left Blues.
He sets out not to lose, and the football is reflective of that. Villa have superior players, quicker and more offensive minded. McLeish wouldn't know what to do. How could he convince the players that an 8-1-1 or 9-1 formation was the way (I was going to say forward, but that word isn't in the McLeish book of tactics!)
Avoid all McManagers - McLeish and Maclaren..you really won't be happy.

There would be utter uproar if we did appoint him. It would be suicidal for Lerner and the board. No not going to happen defiantly not.

GBL! Great to hear you there son. Mcleish would come to Villa though it would be incredibly unpopular with both sets of supporters; no one man could be so hated in the whole of Brum's football history. Then again, he'd probably bring a couple of players with him, so would it be so bad? I'm starting to mellow to the idea, though I'd rather have Coyle if the mgr has to have EPL experience; this criterion being utterly stupid on RL's part.
