I find it amusing when people think anyone who expresses an idea or thought the slightest bit "right wing" they become flat earth believing, holocaust denying, anti-semitic, trump supporting, gun slinging, homophobes.

And the hilariously ironic thing is that the ones who throw these labels at these people are staunch liberals.

I have to disagree with you on that one. If someone denies the holocaust it doesn't absolutely mean they are anti semitic. That isn't what anti semitic means.

Also, being incredulous concerning the holocaust doesn't mean absolutely denying it. It can mean questioning elements of the event.

I'm sure the holocaust happened. There are witnesses to this day who lived the horrors. I just don't believe everything about everything I'm told willy nilly.

It's hard to imagine any other motive for someone to deny the evidence as presented.

So, which evidence do you dispute? And why? What's the motive behind the lying?

It's ok, you can answer in character, or as yourself. Whichever works, I'm genuinely interested in what is behind this sort of thinking.

Why would someone deny that the holocaust took place (given the absolute volume of evidence) if they weren't trying to downplay or disregard the targeting of the Jewish people? Holocaust denial is absolutely anti-semitic, and to claim otherwise is completely laughable.

Which is another very common method of trying to discredit the holocaust. People admitting it happened but saying it was less than 6 million, or that the reports were exaggerations by the allies, are guilty of the exact same thing as outright deniers. They are trying to discredit or undermine the seriousness of the genocide in order to suggest it wasn't that bad and that Jewish people are trying to lie about it to gain sympathy. It is absolutely anti-semitic.

I notice you amhave pretty much admitted you don't believe everything that is accepted bout the holocaust so please tell which bits you think are untrue.
