We've been front runners for Kounde for over a year now. Eventually someone's just gonna pay the money and get him before we do.

Sevilla did not want to part with him, his contract has reduced and so to has the price, the player wants to leave, the player was happy to leave last year. We will have to pay for him but it will be a more realistic price.

You seriously aren't aware of all this?

Kounde is having an operation and won't be signing for anyone until afterwards. It's transfer season you are going to see lots of stories, probably less than 10% will have any substance and less than 5% will come true.

I don't expect much momentum in the market for anothe 2 weeks at least due to the nations league and then breaks. Pre season starts on the 2nd July I believe so players will be focused on the next year and looking to sign contracts others have been working on while they've been busy working and then enjoying a hard earned break with the families.

If you predicted rumours well done, though anyone who has been through a transfer window before should expect them, but nothing has happened yet. The day before the papers were reporting that Sevilla were annoyed with Kounde because they felt the operation might put the transfer to Chelsea at risk.

Is anyone really that fussed about Kounde? We missed our window last year, not this year.

Kounde is wanted by Tuchel, I think if we want to see the best of Tuchel then we have to support him in going for his targets, if we can.

Liverpool two deals in, City with a monster deal, Arsenal in for two key targets, Spurs 3 deals down.

Jurgen had to wait a year longer than he planned. Rumours of tapping up were floating around, they backed off and signed him a year later. There is more than one way of doing business.
