About a year ago gave us the most successful England tournament since 66. It wasn't my fave I'd say for various other reasons 98 and 2002 were mine. I was a bit young in 96 and not really interested in football at that stage. But I'm sure a lot on here would have fond memories of that tourney. A year on from a euro final we should of won if we had a manager with Amy tactical se se we seem to have reverted to being pure chit. Classic England.

Southgate's 'achievements' with England have been down to more luck than anything else. He's honestly had so much run for him compared to previous managers. A semi and a final is the absolute least we should have done.

Well probably not since she left the country permanently over a decade ago and holds a British passport. Also since the current corrupt government are pro-Russian and backed by Russian money. I mean that's the main reason they went into Ukraine because they shifted from pro-Russia to pro-EU and latterly Nato.
When the current government are finally ousted I have no doubt Russia will then enter again. They already have a base there, in the same way they did within Ukraine, when they used the propaganda that they entered to liberate the people in the area, which they used already in 2008, when the government was not pro-Russia. People were put out of their homes and lost everything, their homes and livelihoods, having to move to the capital with nothing. My wife was actually on holiday close to the area they entered at the time when she went back after university ended here. I remember talking to her on the phone and you could hear the bombs. Scary stuff.

My comment was tongue in cheek of course. Yeah it is a turbulent region and not likely to see much long lasting peace for a long while yet. Fascinating region. I only went to Kiev 4 years ago, thought it was a lovely city
