Billy Davies - unfinished business???

He’s never been my favourite but i think he deserves a massive amount of credit for staying as long as he did, many would have walked ages ago. There was no way the new regime could have afforded his wages, so he’s done them a favour. He won’t be out of football for long Ali think his stock after the Derby shambles can only have risen. I for one want the sheep to survive as no matter what, no other match anywhere in the world gives me such a buzz as El Cloughico, especially when we win. Old Colin is the one they should be calling for, no one likes a challenge like Mr Warnock.

I think that all but seals Derby’s fate in League One, never mind the Championship. It wouldn’t surprise me if they get relegated again this season.
Unfortunately Dave, the El Cloughico is going to be a pre-season / Cup affair for decades to come.

Think you'll bounce straight back up Igor?
No buyer, no ground, no players, no revenue and now...no manager.
Based on the above I'd say decades is a reasonable assumption.

Any sensible footy fan would look at how long Wednesday, Sunderland, Ipswich, Leeds & ourselves spent in the third tier. Then examine the relative financial health of each club when they went down!
I would have thought the chances of a swift promotion are zero.

Never said we would but decades, catch a grip.

Ah, sorry Igor, I meant the Premier League. It will be decades before you are back up there.
The Championship is possible. Ten years or so?
22/23 - Points deduction / relegation to L2
23/24 - L2 Play-off loss
24/25 - L2 Winners
25/26 - L1 mid-table
26/27 - L1 Play-off loss
27/28 - L1 Automatic
28-32 - Yo-yo club
33/34 - Championship mid-table obscurity secured
Is that better Igor? 🤣
