Looks like a great move for the player and the club. Having won pretty much everything there is to win at club level why not spend the end of your career somewhere warm and sunny while presumably still picking up a very nice salary? Beats playing in the Championship for Cardiff.
Bale has a special place in my heart and I wished him well at Real Madrid when he left. It was nice having him back briefly under Mourinho. I wish him all the best at LAFC.
That Inter Milan game where he came of age and became a star will always be my favourite Bale memory.

Bale was essentially used as a striker though, his role in the team was to score goals and the team was built around him doing minimal defensive work to ensure that he could provide the most output.
In 2017 Kane scored more goals (56) than anyone else in the world. Similarly when he had to do the "Bale win the game for us" role for us in 2020/21 he managed to lead the league in goals (23) and assists (14). I appreciate there is a debate around the Son/Bale point - but with Kane there is no argument, he definitively been better than Bale for long spells.

no he wasnt Adeboyer, Defoe and Dempsey were the guys you used striker back then. he had a free role back then and it was his job to pretty much do all the attacking for the team. he certainly wasnt the striker

So what? That shows you don't understand how it works in football, Firmino was the striker for Liverpool despite the team being built around creating the chances for Salah.
Similar to what we did for Bale - it doesn't matter if the label is 'striker' or whatever. Football isn't *that* simplistic.

if Kane had Bales peak pace he'd be the greatest player of all time

if Berbatov had Mbappe's peak pace and Kante's stamina he would be the greatest player of all time

If Matt Le Tiss had Walcott's pace and James Milner's conditioning - he would still be a nutjob.

no you didnt, bale did it on his own. he picked up the ball and did what he wanted. unless the tactics of the team where give it to gareth and let him do his thing.
The majority of goals Kane scored was the result of finishig chances created for him by others. Bales job was to create his own chances and then score them.
You hvae you opinion , I have mine. Bale in his final season was playing at a level higher than any other spurs player I can remember
