Thing is,that Richarlison has something that Spurs rarely have had in the past,That's a player with a bit of a nasty streak.I can't rememeber Spurs having that sort of player.It can make a difference having such a player

How do we know Lenglet is back up? We’re only assuming that because he’s been god awful for Barcelona. Is he really an improvement on Rodon? Sanchez? I’m with ABC Jelly on this one. I’m not sure this even an upgrade if we’re looking likely to shift Rodon. All it’s likely to do is reduce our home grown quota further.

It’s also a bit naive to say he’s terrible in a high line but more competent in a low block. Massive mistakes like the ones he’s made for Barca are about concentration, not tactics. The same lack of concentration we routinely saw in Sanchez for years.

We’d better hope Bastoni, Bremer or Torres also come in as first choice LCB as Lenglet isn’t an improvement to our squad, he depreciates it.

How do you know he depreciates the squad, when he hasn't even played one minute of Prem football yet? He may revel playing for Spurs, that is if he signs.

Lenglet has been awful at Barcelona and how happy their fans are to move him out would concern me.

Richarlison deal is a great move imo

my view on Lenglet is that he comes in on loan, if he's a success we buy him. If not we don't....BUT I think that our top targets have been unattainable this summer so maybe we make that move in 6-12 months. Bastoni for example would have 1 year left.

I think we will also get another CB this summer, someone to compete with Dier...Bremer for example.

Rodon goes.

Lenglet has a fantastic range of passing and is comfortable on the ball, very Vertonghenesque, but whether he can stand up to the physicality of the PL remains to be seen. He has been scapegoated at Barca though after a few errors, maybe a change of scenery and coach will do him good.

Richarlison is low risk and makes a lot of sense, he ticks a lot of boxes and I reckon he will become even better in a good team.

Well said on Lenglet. Truth is I, and probably lots of the people on here who have already formed their negative opinions of him, have probably never seen him play. Not to mention we should be trusting Conte. Everyone had doubts about the two lads we got from Juve, but Conte was happy, and look how both turned out. We would no way be in the CL without those two.

Please people, if we do get him, let's see how he turns out before writing him off, leaving the stupid comments to the gooners and plastics.

No one who supports spurs wants a signing to fail, and def wouldn't write them off before giving them a chance but it doesn't mean people cannot say he looks 5hit, based on the last couple seasons.

Spurs need more players but he is no better than sachet or dier and spurs need better. What's the point of getting rid of sachet etc to get lenglet? Seems like a cheap loan to bulk out the options but he won't improve the first 11.

Makes me laugh how u say leave the stupid comments writing him off, despite most them.comments coming because he has been shocking. It's not a coincidence them comments weren't made when romero signed! Why? Cos he is good 😂

Richarilson and lenglet are hard to get excited over unless Conte gets his main targets as well.

Fee £50m with a further £10m in add on’s. Probably the going rate for a player of the Calibre of Richarlison. I think he’s a good buy, he’s not a prolific striker but there’s more to his game than scoring goals. He does seem a moody cvnt let’s hope he doesn’t upset the apple cart.
