Do any of you agree with allysherefor10inarow when he just recently claimed that football back in 'the good auld days' had NO TACTICS and it was all about physical training.Infact according to this gentleman,Jock Stein bullied his players into success and no skill,no knowledge or tactics were used.
I might be the only wan who disagrees with him, what dae you think?
p.s the same gentleman just said Celtic were 'lucky' to win the European Cup.

Pedant? Moi? Just pointing out that Milan is a different team. AC means the same as FC in Italian and Inter don't have the word Milan in their title. Those who distinguish between the two by calling one 'AC' wouldn't dream of calling Liverpool or Aberdeen 'FC', would they? Milan were so called because they were founded by Brits who gave them the British name for their city. Inter, or Internazionale, broke away from Milan and played down the British link. So no such club as 'Inter Milan' exists. They even call the stadium they share by differnt names: Inter call it the Guiseppe Meazza while Milan call it by the name of the district it's situated in, San Siro.

Celtic's win was no fluke. They met again in Toronto several months later and Celtic beat them again 2-0. Big Yogi scoring both goals. I was at the game and actually supported the 'tic that night. Does anyone remember when the Old Firm supporters grudgingly would support each other when they played in Europe?
There, a little trivia for you.
