Slightly late with this but news from last night saying we’re in talks with Man City to sign Zinchenko.
Definitely must be legs to this if this was reported by Ornstein himself
Thoughts on this? Think it would be a good addition especially with his versatility
Zinchenko

Strange that City are letting so many of their players go. Jesus, Sterling, Zinchenko, Fernandinho, looks like Bernardo is off to Barca too, and the likes of Ake, Gundogan and Mahrez have all been linked with moves away too. What’s going on there?

He’s clearly a good utility player but is he a good enough midfield player? He’s tidy enough but I doubt he’ll improve your first eleven. Strange move this.

You're a strange Tottenham fan to not be happy that your team's fiercest rival is NOT (apparently) strengthening its starting team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I meant in general, not specifically Arsenal. I had the same concern when I heard we'd splashed £60m on Richarlison. Decent player but I don't think he gets ahead of Kane, Son and Kulusevski. Some Spurs fans are going nuts with us signing six players so far but only Bissouma and Peresic actually strengthen our first eleven, possibly Spence if we get that one over the line.
I've seen a lot of Spurs fans giving Arsenal fans gyp lately but I'm cautious about things. We're not actually that much better and your top young talent is getting more experienced by the day. Spurs fans that somehow think we're nailed on to be the best of the rest behind City and Liverpool are in for a rude awakening. Arsenal will be close again and then there's United looking stronger in preseason and Chelsea.

in May! Long before we were linked to Lisandro.
Zinchencko is far more suited to CM which he plays for Ukraine but can play left back.
Lisandro however plays less in CM and more as CB and LB. But was looked at as a cheaper alternative.

Daily Mailconsidering a swoop
Great source
Fact is you bid for Martinez first and you wouldn’t be going for anyone else if you bought him
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure what you are laughing at. They reported are interest months ago. Lisandro was always the lesser option, the cheaper option. Nothing new for Man Utd to chase targets from competing clubs and over pay. We decided to move on pursue our first choice.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What a load of nonsense
If we hadn’t come in you’d have got Martinez and been buzzing about it, and would’ve not gone for Zinchenko. Fact
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's exactly what he said? We were interested in both but prioritized Martinez as a better value option, but you came in and spent recklessly as you do, so Zinchenko becomes the better value target.

If Tierney can get injury free and avoid niggles he’s up there with one of the best in the league. On his day he rivals Robertson.
I think Arteta is probably thinking realistically about his options. Given Tierney is injury prone and Partey is the same, and allegedly the player in ‘question’ he needs adequate cover for both positions.
I just always hate it when managers strengthen the squad but not the first eleven.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tbf we absolutely fell apart at the end of last season due to injuries. If had Saliba and Zinchenko instead of Holding and Tavares in that NLD then things might have gone differently for us.

Maybe their owners have decided stop bankrolling them and they have to start balancing the books. Decent signing I just hope he's not the only midfield option we are signing, improves the squad but doesn't improve the starting eleven which is what we need especially in midfield.

Lisandro cost Man Utd £56.4m.
Zinchenko is a bargain by comparison!
