Whilst not being as good individually as Ronaldo.....we perform much better as a team with Martial as the number 9.

Because Ronaldo was playing as no.9 and Martial was probably dejected having been once again shunted out of the no.9 spot, having done pretty well in that position for the previous 2 years.

yeah he must have been totally surprised that his 4 league goals in 20/21 werent enough to keep him in the side . Ronaldo went on to score more in 1 season aged 37 than Martial has in any season.

Utd fans seem to have such short memories. You have been criticising this guy for years - Flaky, inconsistent, profligate, lazy...and now he should have never been dropped and was rightly upset by being ousted by Ronaldo after having 2 strong seasons
