he also hates how the cars just get bigger and bigger, there is far less you can do with them which I do agree with. the cars are getting far to big and heavy now.

A very fair driver, a good guy and his locks recently have been impressive.

Le Clerc is showing that just having talent and a fast car is not enough.

Anyone can say they would win the championship in the fastest car. most of them dont have a clue.

You've come to that conclusion based on one (costly) error of judgement, which is harsh and unfair on Charl.

Firstly...Charl in his first two seasons at 19 years of age in Ferrari had the measure of an established vastly experienced 4-time world champion under high pressure conditions over 1 lap & racing distance (team which was geared towards Seb, prior to his arrival).
Something which Kimi who was a fast driver and world champion failed to do at Ferrari, as Seb' team-mate.
On that alone, Charl is a world champion in the making.

Disregarding all that...
Ferrari have been screewing up strategies + mechanical failures from leading positions in said fast car (issues beyond his control & through no fault of his own), which is the wider problem here.
Ferrari are notorious and have form for this, the main issue as to why there is the big points deficit to Max at the moment.

I'm intrigued to see with the new floor technical directives coming into force in Spa, If that will have any effect on Ferrari & Redbull and the order in general going into the second half of the season.

Best driver on the grid since Schumacher. Will be a great loss to the sport.
Shame no-one but Red Bull could give him a car to match his talents. Imagine he'd moved to Mercedes - he'd probably be a 12-time Champ!

And likely the only person still watching F1 would be his mum, but still.

Like Seb, proper F1 fan aswell as a driver

Remember watching Grill the Grid and he named every single world champion in order from 2020 all the way back to 1950

Guy absolutely loves his sport, would have been a big decision for him to walk away

Still shows flashes of brilliance, but just hasn't had the car to really compete for years, so not surprised he's decided to concentrate on his family life now

Best of luck to him, be nice if he managed to get a win or a podium before he goes...can't see it though

One? He's crashed loads of times in his career. Blokes error prone. Imola is another example. You can count how errors Max makes per season on one finger.

We talking about the same "crashtappen" here, you may want to find out how he got that name in the first place.
Entirety of their careers...Max has had way more errors leading to crashes.

Are you deliberately being obtuse or oblivious?
Using Max as an example or barometer takes the biscuit...paper champ literally almost lost a championship last season, due to said crashes which he could have avoided...saved by an inept race director.

Even though he's won more titles I don't think he's better than Alonso. For me he was found wanting in the one season where Ferrari were close competitively to the Mercs, while Alonso in 2012 was in a title battle that his car had no right to be in.
