You are skint so will sell eventually, it`s a waiting game and £40m is a reasonable offer for the player. £45m should get it done.

Not sure Ben White should be the yardstick for value!

But do agree £40m seems light for a talented, EPL experienced player who has decent numbers and is coming into his prime years. There’s always been rumours that he’s a challenging character (arrogant) so unless newcastle have knowledge that Leicester want rid, seems an odd offer. They’ve basically invited any other interested party to the table and with the season so close you’d imagine all teams want deals wrapped up asap.

I have no skin in the game here, it’s a reasonable offer, I don’t think he’s a £50m player and £60m is delusional.

I think you’re right, K.P., but I can see them finishing above us at the end of the coming season.

There are also rumblings about Fofana being on his way to London. Someone quoting it’s a done deal and someone else saying City have rejected a bid from Chelsea. Whatever. I’m sorry if this has already been mentioned somewhere.

I tend not to take too much notice about speculation, particularly hilarious stuff like Maddison to Newcastle for a derisory £40M - this is even below Transfermarkt's value by £5M.

What is undoubtedly worrying is the complete absence of transfers in and Tilly still being at the club this late in the window - probably these two points being linked.

Incidentally, I haven't seen anything about a 'big' club coming after Brendan, probably to TB's irritation!

Brendan’s chance of a Big Club have gone, he’s trying his hardest to avoid being let go now 😉
