Arsenal will finish above Spurs this season

A lot of defences will fear our attack with Jesus in it.Time has now come to amend this blip in history and restore normality. We have Saliba who is LANS. 2 trophies in pre season so winning breeds winning. As usual it will be a closely fought battle but this time Arsenal will edge it

What say you ?

yeah going in right direction for sure and unfortunately only a matter of time before spurs surpassed, think both look good for a CL finish this season

starting to think Chelsea could be a bit chit. obvs they'll do the double over us but finish like 6th or worse in transition and Tuchel seems to be coming to the end of a standard term for one of their managers.

Hope so, had you nailed on for it now Conte is settled but while Chelsea have spent a lot it's not the most convincing approach they're taking and Utd have done no business to bridge the gap themselves, so I think we've got a better opportunity than I thought we would have had at the start of the summer.

And centre backs.. and a right back.. and a decent deep lying midfielder.. Ten Hag is going to have to work miracles with that lot

they have the same players for those positions who finished 2nd two seasons ago, who in the prem even plays with a deep lying player maker? i find this search for one for man u quite funny cause their midfield is gonna be seriously light if they are going to play one in a pivot with Eriksen and Bruno in the team

its just if Arsenal have enough to balance with the Europa and also depends on all sides with injuries - Spurs wont be as lucky as they were last season with them

Yep, the hope is that we can play mostly reserves until the new year, at which point it gets tricky.

Also the Partey stuff could be a huge blow, although I imagine he's not gonna go down for it.

yeah that could be a massive stinking point

lots of more attack minded stereotypical arsenal player technical midfielders but not a lot of bite there in depth.

Fair enough. You wouldn't have any of Saliba, Gabriel or White in the back three next to Romero?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yeah defo

Conte manager

Lloris
Romero Gabriel Davies
Doherty Bissouma Partey Zinchenko
Kulu Kane Son

Arteta manager

Ramsdale
Tomiyasu Romero Gabriel Zinchenko
Partey Bissouma
Saka Odegaard Son
Kane

on basis we dont know what few of newer signings will be like in the prem and Saliba too really

when you look past the XIs though spurs do seem to have a lot more options say if there was a 9 man bench for the combined team a lot more spurs players would be on it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Very reasonable and I would mostly agree

Think you guys have the better team and manager currently, but our squad has a lot of potential so you probably need to get some success the next two years and build on it sensibly to stay ahead.

Despite all the tottenham hype, the gap over last seasons poor Arsenal season end was just 2 points. We threw it away, tottenham were at the mercy of us messing up. They are not as clear of us as they think they are.
