Goes with everyone’s best wishes, I believe Nice are being backed financially and aiming for CL football which he has said openly wants another crack at. Also not a bad place to live.

Fair enough, always liked him as a player, top keeper and seems a very decent person too.

I realise this has been pre-empted on an earlier thread but I would have thought Leicester fans would be adding to the tribute to Kasper here.
What a journey we have been on together this past eleven years; for me, it is even longer because I remember watching him warm up for Man City at the Walkers before a FA Cup game in Jan 2004. Little did I know that he would win the Premier League and FA Cup with us. Also his bravery following the helicopter tragedy.
Kasper, I salute you and thank you for eleven years of memories.

Many thanks to Kasper for 11 marvellous years with some fantastic memories, all the best for the future.
Hopefully he'll be back soon to the KP stadium so we can give him the proper farewell he so richly deserves.

I shall add my tribute to Kasper for all he has achieved whilst at the club. He has always come across as a personable fellow, and a fine goalkeeper, the like of which will not be replaced so easily.

An incredible member of a great team. An example to everyone, not just for his football, but for his qualities as a human being, which came to the fore at the time of the tragic helicopter crash.
Good luck Kasper.

He leaves a Leicester legend for sure. Our most successful goalkeeper over our most successful era.
Not only that, but as a leader and a man off the pitch, he has contributed beyond football to our club.
His save in the FA Cup final might be my most favourite save ever. Throw in some other incredible saves across the years. He’s been a joy to watch a privilege to have at our club.
I can’t help but feel he’ll be back in some role one day, maybe as a coach or even a manager. But until then, he’ll always be welcomed back as the legend he is.
Thanks for everything Kasper and good luck.

The best keeper I've seen play for us.
I was at Doncaster away when Kasper threw the ball into his own net and we lost the game. Walking back to the car after that, we never dreamt in a million years that we'd see him lift the Premier League trophy, the F A Cup and the Charity Shield.
Whoever comes in now has got some big gloves to fill.

We all know the term 'Legend' is used far too often in football, but for once it is the right thing to say.
Kasper's eleven years at Leicester City have been the best and most successful years the club has ever seen. And that is no coincidence: his strength of character, his force of personality and his almost unique shot-stopping ability has been instrumental in driving the club forward.
He comes across as a genuine, caring and brave man always willing to put others first but demanding that those around him aspire to be the best they can be.
He will be missed greatly - as much off the pitch as on it.
I wish him all the best in Nice and hope he achieves his dream of more European success.

So Kasper prefers to live in Nice rather than Lestah, does he? Well there's no pleasing some folks.
Seriously, he will be one of the most outstanding people to play for our club since I first watched them in 1968. I don't say as a player, as we have had better goalies- but as a very good goalie, an excellent captain, a leader in the dressing room, and a club statesman, when you think how he represented our club during the helicopter crash. Plus he showed unusual loyalty to stay 11 years with one club. I hope we can give him a really good send-off.
