22/23 Season Preview

Transfer Window thoughts:

Still feel like we might end up a little light in midfield, especially susceptible to injuries in that position, I'm surprised we left it there in midfield when we couldn't sign Tchouameni.

Tactical tweaks

Against weaker teams I expect Nunez to play very much as a traditional central striker, but I'd expect Firmino or Jota to play that position as a false nine in games against the tougher teams.

Because I think he'll light up the league this year and be one of the very best players in football.

Transfer window:
Good not great. Replaced who we lost from the squad pretty much like for like. Would be good to move on the likes of Phillips but it's not big deal.

Tactical tweaks:
Not too much. Using Nunez means a slightly different approach and we may see the number 8 moving more into attack on occasion. Hard to tell at this stage.

Final team: Only positions up for debate at CB and CF. Happy with any option taken,

Flop of the season - bobby. Unbelievable player for us over the course of his time but I really dont see what he brings anymore. Felt that way for nearly 2 years now.
