Look for the positives.
Perhaps Praet will get a start! Did well when replacing Barnes on Sunday and looked very good previously.

You have to worry for him though, he’s now under LCFC training so will probably get injured himself.

Still, I don’t expect him to start and probably won’t get much game time either.

It would appear that Praet is definitely back in the fold and part if Rodgers’ plans. That’s really good news. I will be surprised if he doesn’t play some part on Sunday.

It's a shame about Ricardo, at his best a terrific player who if injury free would definitely be attracting interest from 'big' clubs. It seems he is unfortunately one of those players who seem destined to spend too much time on the treatment table.

Certainly not having him or Barnes available, together with Lookman not being acquired severely limits our attacking capabilities. So yes, Puelball here we come!

Or Praett will be a revelation and like a new signing ?

It’s obvious to me that we need to sell a big fee player this window. Everybody, including the club it seems, assumed that would be Tilly. Now that seems unlikely we are down to selling someone else. Newcastle after Barnes (now injured) and Maddison, probably more indispensable than Fofana. So let’s get as much as we can for Wesley knowing that he will be a world class player who we can say we discovered: or, we can hope he either fails his medical or becomes as frail as Ricardo.
I see Man U fans are saying they should sign Mitrovic after his display today - let’s hope Vestergaard scores a hat trick tomorrow!
