Not really. He’s always hated us for the way his old man was dismissed. He didn’t state any facts either - he said Spurs haven’t won a single trophy under Levy which is technically incorrect and refused to acknowledge the points Neville was trying to make in terms of how the club has been grown vs Utds ownership model.

Redknapp is trying to be box office on Sky and raise his profile as pundits they’ve brought in after him such as Carragher, Keane, Souness and Neville are all more engaging plus Sky are now jumping on the equality bandwagon and getting gormless birds in to pundit; Redknapp is probably afraid of losing his job to a woman if he doesn’t get them a few YouTube clicks.

The problem I have with what Redknapp said is the so called failure, is it failure? I’m not sure it is. When Levy came in the club was a joke, faaacking West Ham used to finish above us and we were diabolical.

Now we have the best football ground in Europe, unbelievable players, a decent record in the Champions league - we had been in Europes premier competition twice in our history pre Levy, these days the fans just expect it.

We have not got over the line with major trophies yet, but we were miles off pre levy whereas we’re now in the conversation.

Gary Neville was talking sense in my opinion and Redknapp as usual was talking utter bollox - Although Neville claiming Conte is not a United type of manager still cracks me up

Where did "gormless" come from?
Is it a north country word?
I use it myself, but only ever heard it used in contexts like "you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear".

But you have over the last few years. You have flattered to decieve over the last 3 years or so, going through 4 managers in that time shows that. So he has been quite right to criticise. You yourself have roasted your team during that time, we all remember your poch rants.

He has already stated he fancies yous to kick on this season and has you in the top 4 again end of season, what more do you want?
