1) A point at the Bridge is a good result given our record
2) Good teams grind out a point away from home when not playing their best
3) We were lucky, who cares, We’ve had no luck at the bridge for the last 30 years
4) Perisic has to start. His set piece delivery is superb. Enough of Son taking corner etc, he should be in the box
5) Masive improvement in mentality, to come back twice in that environment was a reflection of the manager who was prepared to fight for his team on the touch line.
6) Fantastic management/ change of formation from Conte to address the midfield issue that dogged us in the first half.
7) Kulu can play as WB, Perisic can play higher up the pitch and Sess might be better of the bench as Ivan’s legs tire.
8) The squad depth is giving us better options to play different formations against better teams. 343 didn’t work yesterday. We could play 4231 with Kane, Son & Kulu behind Richie (or any variation, all are interchangeable)
9) Odd that Doc can’t get minutes, Moura on ahead of him when Royal came off and Spence can’t get in the squad.
10) We still need another CB and an AM before Sept 1st…… James Maddison PLEAASE !!!!
Well done Spurs, time to move on, address the 1H issues from yesterday and pump Wolves next weekend…. Worst fixture of the season out the way…. Onwards & Upwards

I don't think the ref got much wrong to be honest. It's only those who follow what others say that seem to have a dislike for Spurs and therefore want to belittle our result.
Nothing wrong with the first goal.
Yea, Romero is lucky not to have been in trouble, but that doesn't excuse the goal still really. Chelsea still didn't defend it properly. Can go on about the phase before all you like but Harry nodded it in.
Sick of fans constantly blaming refs. Chelsea should be blaming Jorginho for the first goal instead of the ref. Should be blaming their marking for the 2nd instead of the ref.
Everyone hates Spurs on here, obvious to see. The views of Sounness afterwards were fair I thought.

I doubt whether everybody on here hates Spurs but it's inevitable that with our new stadium (which has brought out great envy in many folk) and our unlikely and brilliant cl qualification will upset people.
We were less disliked when we were a mid table team that could hope for a Europa cup place at best, being unpopular is a sign of progress and should be enjoyed.

Bentancur got the ball. Romero's should have been a foul and a yellow, but I think VAR could only check for a red card?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ironically I think if Romero had done the hair pull on the corner we scored from, the goal would have been disallowed by VAR as it would have deemed it a foul in the build up to a goal.
But yeah I think they just reviewed it for serious violent conduct or something and Romero got lucky.
I do think the bleating about decisions is a bit unnecessary though. Tuchel should have seen a red card after their second goal, Deki was arguably fouled in the build up to that goal etc..... I think on balance decisions went a bit more in our favour but nothing particularly outrageous.

You lot got lucky yesterday, the hair pulling incident was blatant and right in front of the ref but not given.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Being lucky is part of the game, did you not get lucky in the CL final with that pen call?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
no it was a penalty, also yesterday that was a blatant foul right in front of the ref but for some reason ignored. No wonder Chelsea are fuming.
I think it was even VAR reviewed too
Obviously something that needs to looked at around how VAR works/rules ect.
Thems the breaks though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Chelsea are fuming is of concern to you?
Just trolling then?

The most important thing is you were supposed to be ahead of us in preparation, fitter, more settled yet for most of the match you were poor.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The fitness thing will become more obvious as the season progresses.
Tactically, we were done for the first half, and it was just down to tactics. Not fitness as such.
With Mount roaming the midfield to outnumber us wherever the ball was, caused us the issue.
However, Conte, brought on Richarlison and changed to 4 at the back, that won us the initiative and in fact, Kane should have out us ahead with a 1 on 1.
This was Chelsea's game to win and the fact they didn't speaks volume of solidity and tenacity shown by Spurs...To the last second.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Personally, and I know you won't agree, I also think it was down to poor officialling, these things happen. I'm still anti VAR and happy to accept that refs ate not perfect, without them we'd not have a game. I expect both teams to improve.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It shows how perceptions are different based on allegiance and where the interests lie, as I thought the ref did very well in the context of a fiery derby with previous bad blood?
Accept he may have made a few mistakes, but nothing for me that isn't honest error.
James Reece got away with a few pulling back our players and strong challenges and could have got a second yellow, but the ref tried his best to let the game flow. Bentacur's tackle was spot on and got the ball, but it is difficult for the refs, as Chelsea players were tending to go down anytime there was a contact.
In the end, it was a game between last season's 3rd and 4th so it was close, and a 2-2 draw is good for me, all things considerred
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I too think he did ok given the circumstances, I said refs are not perfect and there were plenty of calls he didn't make when he could of. There are mistakes that do notatter and there are those that do, we cannot pick and choose which occur or when. I'd still rather have human error than all the technology.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Totally agree. I'd rather a ref makes a human error, than have multiple lines drawn everywhere to show something is not right?
The game is more fun when it is at full blood and thunder pace, and the ref is doing his best to let the game flow.

So it happens in games. Spurs were involved in many incidents where we felt hardened by, not just from small incidents. Like vs United when Nayim lobbed the keeper and it was 10 feet in and it was not deemed as gone in and a goal?
Get over it, you're not even a Chelsea fan, but a Liverpool fan who probably gets the most favourable decisions of all the clubs?

Thoroughly entertaining game yesterday from a neutral perspective and a good result from a top 4 perspective
Good start by both sides.
