The biggest worry would obviously be Ronaldo and Cavani (plus Greenwood) leaving with no replacements.

Now that really would be criminal.

Makes me wonder if the club know something about Greenwood that has yet to break (RDD has been on the blower).

You have to think the CPS are struggling to put a case together.

That said, it would still be a huge risk... We don't know where his head will be at if he returns and the away crowds (and maybe some of the home crowd) get on his back.

I imagine he'll go the way to Ravel Morrison.

We need a striker, asap.

Be great to have him back. Just the boost we need right now

I’m sure we’ll bring in 2/3 more players. But there’s a strong likelihood they’ll be panic buys and just players there who’ll end up making the numbers up and we’ll still see the manager turn to McFred when the chips are down

You have to think the CPS are struggling to put a case together.

Take a look at what’s happening across UK policing (funding cuts, police numbers down), the CPS (budget reduced by the Tories by more than 25%), and the courts system (half of the country’s courts and tribunals have been or are being closed by the ‘party of law and order’ ).

There’s a backlog of 60,000 active cases, never mind the CPS being able to deal with getting new ones to court.

Even serious sexx offences are taking well over a year to get moving.

The delay with Greenwood’s case doesn’t signify anything in terms of what the police and CPS may or may not have found. It’s just another case the victim is going to have to wait months or years to see in court.

UK justice has as good as ground to a halt.

The Rabiot deal seems imminent and that leaves a couple of weeks to bring in a striker and/or another midfielder

50m on a midget CB looks daft already, needs to be used as a DM going forward.

Which should in theory mean Varane plays over Fred or McTominay so a blessing in disguise.

Eriksen will be good, no doubts there. Malacia showed some fight which is badly needed so promising sign.
