What would it take….

For you to regain some positivity by the time the transfer window closes?

Which comings/goings would make you feel that from December onwards say (to allow bedding in), we could regain some form that could push up the table and set us up nicely for next season?

For me it would be FDJ, a proper CDM workhorse beast and a talented RWF.

I don’t think all of those would happen but it’s not impossible.

It does, though. You just pay more attention to United because you support them. You’d be whingeing if we didn’t try to negotiate his wages down as well. You can’t have it both ways, especially given the state the club are in. Michael Edwards could come to the club and we’d still have difficulty because of what has come before. It’s not to excuse the window, the decision making has been poor but I’m talking about negotiations being much more complex than you think - especially as everything is played out in the media with United. Other clubs will be negotiating for months with clubs and agents for transfers because they do take a long time.

Plus journalists regularly make things up about United because they know our fanbase is massive and manic. It’s actually an industry standard, United gets more attention than any other club.
