We need stability, not another risk.

I think every manager there is has been linked with the position!

He was pants at PNE with loans

I'd rather give someone untried at this level a go than someone who has tried and failed twice. At least we'd have a good chance of coming straight back up!
I'm tempted by Paul Tisdale at Exeter. He's young and his club are punching far above their weight. They are renowned for playing nice football too, he and Hart sound perfect for each other.

We've jsut done that with McClaren Lloyd. We need someone who knows how to manage in this division not some unknown manager from the lower leagues. Bascialyl we need a Billy Davies type!

Agree with you Caniggia, maybe with McClaren at the time we did need someone like him who was a bit of a risk but now we need stability and Billy would bring that near straight away, well on the field anyway!

I'm not sure Billy is the person to come back as that seems very unlikely. But we need someone like him who has had success in this division. Someone like Alan Curbishley or even Dave Jones who have managed teams at the top end of this division. Whether we can afford them I don't know.
