I still reckon we'll end up with Gakpo, as his price is likely to be much more realistic. As a regular watcher ot Dutch football, is Antony that much better than Gakpo, to justify being valued at twice the price?

He’s managed 20 combined G & A’s in back to back seasons at Ajax. I’m not saying he can take that to the PL or that the fees mooted aren’t excessive, but he’s shown quality in the Dutch league for more than one season.

The Dutch league is one of the worst in the world. It's on par with Kazachstan. 90% of the teams have dreadful stadiums and players are on the same level as league 1.

League 1 is facking dreadful, it’s better than that, championship level with better beat teams than anything in that league.

Not saying he can't be a success but I believe Ziyech had better numbers than him in that division. Donny also looked like Frank Lampard for them too.

It's a hugely risk deal.
