Congrats to you lot, fully deserved and frankly 2-1 flattered us. The second goal was well offside but it was fully merited.

Onto us, that was absolutely shocking and completely in tune with our start to the season.

We're supposedly title contenders and have a midfield of Henderson, Elliot and Milner away at our biggest rival yet aside from Tchouameni there is no midfielder in the world that could improve us.

The stubbornness in the market at this club can be exceptionally tiresome. Whether it's cheap owners or a stubborn manager, I really don't know which it is, it's just not good enough and we've dropped off a cliff hugely in quality this year.

Look I'm not arguing that the goal wasn't deserved, 3-0 / 4-0 a better reflection of the game tbh but the goal was offside. End of. I've seen that ruled out for us dozens of times.

But VAR determined it was in fact onside

Bias aside I personally thought it was offside but you’d likely be a trophy down last season if VAR got every offside correct.

I've also not argued at all about the result, in fact it says in the OP that 2-1 flattered us. But it was offside.

The important thing is that United won, Liverpool lost, and we can all go to bed happy

You lot had a ruff start last season and still frightened City all the way to the end. Losing Mané was a blow but (unfortunately for us) Klopp will turn this around.
