I agree, at first I thought it was just a slip but you can see contact as the Barca player crosses behind him. Interesting that Mahrez took the penalty.

Aren't Alvarez and Gomez penalty takers too. Like busses none for ages then four come along all at once.

I say four because until quite recently Mahrez was abject. Remember the one he missed for Leicester at the Ethiad? Scored but used both feet!

It's quite obvious he slipped.

Would have been brilliant if it had happened in a competitive game and VAR missed it.

It's quite obvious that you need to check the video a few more times. The defender hit Haaland's heel with his knee. In other words, there was contact. Was it enough to make him fall? Not sure about that.
